Oh, what a relief it is! After the stressful finding of parking that I prepaid for last night (never found YELLOW) dropped my son and grandson off and finally found the solution. BRGR has excellent service, best burger ever, needed a drink and was pleasantly surprised at the fair price on a double Glenlivet scotch, waitress was great and suggested the validation for 3 hours parking. Super place for T Mobile events. Loved it!
Perfect spot in Power and Light for a good dinner for a night out. Enjoyed Oktoberfest pretzel and beer selection. The pretzel was delicious and absolutely perfect for this time of year. The atmosphere was pretty low key and service was good.
Always good service, great food and drinks. Looks like most restaurants in KC but still a nice environment.
My husband and I went here a few weeks ago before seeing a movie. The hostess wasn't very friendly, but all of the other staff working that we dealt with were wonderful. We shared the funky chicken sandwich and "the combo" with tots, onion rings and fries. I recommend the tots and fries for sure, personally the onion rings were cut a bit to big for me. The funky chicken sandwich was really good also! I loved being able to look out the big open windows at people walking by, very nice atmosphere!
This place was very nice. Great food, one of my favorite burgers. I got the Number 3 Burger. Note, fries don't come with the price of the burgers, they are extra. Service was okay, just our server wasn't the friendliest person. Overall, solid place near the Power & Light District.
Excellent burgers, they were extremely tender and juicy and very large. I recommend adding grilled onions on the burger. I had their truffle fries; they were very good. They have excellent service and delicious spiked shakes! The modern atmosphere and quality of food and service really differentiates this burger joint to many others in KC. Highly recommend.
This gourmet burger gastropub has an approachable menu, is rarely ever crowded, and delivers on quality food on every visit. BRGR has another location in Corinth, which is way more chaotic than this laid back restaurant on the edge of Power and Light. The dark interior and large dining area complete with many a big booths makes it a great place to take a fairly larger party and even makes it family friendly.
Last night my mom and I came into the roadblock of Hot County Nights hindering our happy hour plans so, BRGR to the rescue. Their happy hour gave us a great price on beers and some really tasty fried pickle chips with a homemade garlic aioli. After starting off strong, our burgers arrived and they were just as mouthwatering.
My mom went with a tried and true and one of the less expensive specialty burger options on the fairly extensive menu, The Roadhouse, which simply was the barbecue bacon fried onion burger of the bunch. Since I had dabbled in far too many of the mainstays on the menu throughout the years of patroning BRGR I went with a seasonal creation that wouldn't be on the menu forever. The nod to a Hawaiin burger was the Big Kahuna burger and it came topped with a succulent juicy jumbo pineapple ring.
All in all, you may be questioning why a solid 4 star review and not 5 well, it really comes down to that sometimes service isn't the best if the restaurant isn't busy and also, the actual burgers could be a tad more adventurous and complex in their flavor profiles. Other than that, it's a solid choice for a pretty quiet meal in power and light.
